Thank you for your interest in commissioning a painting. Below you will find what I offer and how my process works.

The basics:

  • I paint in oil on canvas using only artist grade pigments.
  • All finished paintings are varnished for added protection
  • Your work will arrive ready to hang. (Framing is an optional add on)
  • The commission process typically takes 6-10 weeks
  • I offer a limited number of commissions each year. Paying a deposit holds your spot.

Three styles to choose from:

  • Florals

    Styalized artwork created either from a photo reference or a general color palette.

  • Landscapes

    Impressionistic paintings full of movement. Can be inspired by a photo.

  • Monochromes

    A more modern style with a single stem (or two or three) on a matching background.

Commission Process

  • 1. DISCOVERY CALL

    The very first step is to schedule a "discovery call." This is an informal chat to discuss what you have in mind and whether or not I am the right artist for your vision.

  • 2. DEPOSIT & DETAILS

    Once your 50% deposit is paid we will discuss any further details and I can begin working on your painting.

  • 3. PAINTING CONTINUES

    I will create your beautiful custom oil painting according to your preferences. As I near its completion I will share photos so we can narrow down any final details.

  • 4. FINAL PAYMENT & DELIVERY

    Once dry your painting will be varnished and delivered ready to grace your home and inspire you day after day! Your final payment is due at this time.

FAQs

Can I give a commission as a gift?

Absolutely! I can either create a painting from an inspiration photo or I can send a beautifully packaged "gift certificate" with detailed instructions and a personal message if desired.

What sizes do you offer?

My most common sizes are listed below, but I'm happy to discuss another size that you have in mind.

How long is the commission process?

This will vary depending on the season. (I am very busy during wedding season!) However, once I have your photos, your painting will typically be finished within 6-10 weeks.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. All commissions start with a 50% deposit but I am happy to break up the remaining balance into multiple payments.
